Camp Panini on Indian Mathematics

SamskritaBharati is delighted to invite Prof. K. Ramasubramanian to conduct a weekend camp for middle and high schoolers on Indian Mathematics this summer in June. 


This is a great opportunity for students with interest in Mathematics who wish to learn and explore the Indian methods and origins of Mathematics in Algebra, Geometry and Combinatorics. Apart from these, we will indulge in a short primer on Pingala's amazing chandas-shastra. This is a first-of-its-kind, in-person camp on these topics to be ever conducted by SamskritaBharati and you do not want to miss this opportunity!


This weekend camp is open to current (as of Apr 2024) middle and high schoolers with basic knowledge of samskritam, early introductions to algebra and geometry.

Note: Session on June 7th will be in the afternoon (4PM or later). Overall this will be a 10-12 hour camp spread over 3 days. Location and timing will be notified by Mar 31. Price for the camp will be quite nominal, mainly to cover the costs of organizing the camp.


Prof. Ramasubramanian is the chair professor at CISTS division in IIT Bombay. He is a world-class scholar of great repute, a historian of Indian Sciences in Mathematics and Astronomy, Sanskrit Scholar, Vedic Teacher, Indian Philosopher and a Guru to many.
